Copings

The deterioration or cracking of the joint material leaves an opening between the sections. This is created by movement between the building wall and the caps. Copings allow moisture to enter the wall and roofing system, causing ruptures in the flashings and roof systems, or separating the mortar and spalling of the brick or block. General deterioration of the roofing system will occur.
